Byways of St. Saviour and Trinity

I choose this walk not only because of its great historical interest and beautiful woodland during spring time but for its challenging hills. Signing up for the Collas Crill Island Walk has meant that I need to get prepared for the ardous 48 miles. This walk provides you with a good starting point if you are a regular walker. Its steep and long hills gives you the right stamina you need for the island walk. Despite the gruelling hills , you can't miss the stunning woodland as you pass by. Unfortunately the daffodils and snowdrops were nowhere to be seen.

On your walk, don't forget to see "Les Grande Vaux Reservoir" one of the many ones in the island. The ruins of a wartermill - Moulin du Ponterrin - which is one of the 38 known sites, the beautiful property "La Blanche Pierre" with its amazing apple crusher in the garden and finally look out for the most wonderful property dated from 1500 - "Le Potterin". Something not to be missed if your legs and heart are still working by the end of the walk.
